TAX DEDUCTION

 

 

If you make a copy of  all the material I provide you and donate that copy to a legal charitable institution, such as your local historical society or commission or your town’s library archives, you should be entitled to deduct from your current year’s federal taxes the entire cost I bill you, plus the cost of the photocopies you make, plus the cost of the mileage you expend driving to and from your house to have the copies made, and to deliver them to the destination, etc. If you have any reservations about this, please consult a tax professional.

 

This is a one time-deduction:  you may donate a copy of my material to as many institutions as you wish ( and I do encourage that), but can use the deduction only once.
